Blush and bashful

Now that the Chinese New Year holidays are over, we look forward to Valentine's Day! (In view of the day) here are some pink/blush rooms and what I love about them. Get ready to swoon!

Now LOOK at this kid's room. Who says you have to paint the walls pink?

Such sweetness. I love the blend of blue and peach.

Yup, pink does not have to be in your face.

PS. I secretly do have girly fantasies and wish I can bathe my home in pink.

Break-away

So we decided on an impromptu getaway last weekend to Batam Island, one of the largest islands in the Riau archipelago. It is only 40 mins from Singapore by Ferry or Private Yacht if you like.

We decided to take advantage of the soft launch and checked out luxury resort - Montigo. Of course, I noticed the interiors right away. Tastefully decorated - a cross between contemporary and organic, spacious with a fabulous sea-view.

Stunning Lonny

Lonny mag's Mar/Apr issue is out! ... and it did not disappoint. Was very happy this morning when I picked up tips and got inspired as always. Some of these are gonna be blogged to death but i'm gonna document (with little scribbles on the images) what appeals 'cos of my 2KB memory. I do not wanna forget certain details when i go about decorating my apartment in the very near future.

... and now for bold colors to create a den-like atmosphere.

Breath-taking Austin, Tex home

The hubz and I couldn't get enough of the beautiful homes in Austin. See what I found, for $500,000 (less than the price of our 1050sq feet apartment (!)

The view must be spectacular from every corner of the house.
The house is anchored by the living room with sloping high ceiling and surrounding windows.
One of the 2 master suites. It comes with a private entry, tub and a verandah.
The lower level master suite that opens to the yard and open bathroom. So, are you salivating yet?

Drop dead gorgeous apartment

There's just too much to take in. Black and white photography mounted onto mirrors, colored accents that pops against the neutral [posh] palette and tasteful decor.
